They are now faking the very rare peaked caps of the rank of Admiral of the Fleet of the USSR.

I think the same seller just recently had two MSU caps for sale at eB, one gray walkout cap and one parade. Proceed with caution.

I'd love to buy it and put it in my living room (maybe even replace to soviet cockade, sell it, and replace it with a cheaper RF one), IF it wouldn't drain my bank account by $300 and were of better quality. I wonder if I can make him sell it to me for 300 rubles? (About $12 :D)

Ohhh...this is terrible, I've bought stuff from him before.
I feel like a total heel now haha.
I'm new to the militaria scene so I really dunno what to look out for, but what I got from him is good quality...despite the fact they are total fakes.

Hello Commissar, welcome to the forum...this is a great forum and you can learn a lot here...maybe you can post the pics of your hats and we can see if they are good or not.

Thank you for the welcome Doug!
I'll put up some pics soon of my small but growing collection.

Since I am sort of new to Soviet collecting discussions such as these are invaluable. There needs to be more put on here. Fakes are every where.
