The main problem was that none of the people who made me those annoying offers were hot chicks who use them to "work". I would have thought twice and proposed a meeting to deliver and test the item...

When you enter the world of selling and buying gasmasks, you encounter some very strange people (and that's just the legitimate collectors). I never tried on any masks that were not brand new because I was afraid where they might have been.

More than one, Jeffrey. Sell them all the gas masks they want, even slap together something for them from replicas if they just need the "look." But never surrender a former soldier's (in the real spirit of the word "soldier") uniform to someone who doesn't appreciate the history behind it.:thumbsup
Otherwise, let them buy something from ePay or a costume shop.

I am glad to see somebody has seem my doodles and enjoyed them! I have begun to see alot of photographers stuffing their models into Soviet and even WW2 German uniforms for photo shoots, my friend is one of those people who does this sort of thing. :o
She says she just loves the iconography of the Soviet Union and their "snazzy uniforms".
Who can blame her? I couldn't help myself and now look at me! Addicted to this hobby!
