For Bravery,0135090,T-60 Driver-Mechanic,184th Tank Brigade - CtahhR - 06-23-2012
This particular subject of wearing awards into combat has been covered many times and the short answer is "not usually worn during combat". But you can have the full spectrum of tales of awards that are unrecognisable after being "unearthed" to combat veterans never taking their awards out of the box.
For Bravery,0135090,T-60 Driver-Mechanic,184th Tank Brigade - Tommy - 06-24-2012
The information about his death really brings a sense of perspective back from the brave deeds that he committed and shows that like us all, these brave men were human.
Sad, but a really nice collection.
At least we know his awards are in safe hands and will be treated with the care that they deserve.
