Research Time - Who wins? You decide! - CtahhR - 10-22-2012 Maybe you're right. You should get ALL the ones I have here researched first. I certainly can't afford it. All the awards I've posted in the "researchers'" section have all been done by myself with "the site". Hopefully I'll be able to get a few more done before the year is out. Even found 2 more "new" ones last night. Research Time - Who wins? You decide! - Lapa - 10-22-2012 Tom, There is a very decent chance that your ORS 3666016 is for Afghanistan :thumbsup Marc Research Time - Who wins? You decide! - Tommy - 10-22-2012 Fingers crossed Marc! Surprisingly, the majority of votes have gone to BM 2.68 million so far! I wasn't expecting that! Tom Research Time - Who wins? Unless 8 somebodies know something the rest of us don't it's some sort of glitch. And no one has posted in the thread about it.... Research Time - Who wins? You decide! - CtahhR - 10-22-2012 Just watch it be to a commander of a blocking unit! Although if I researched it it'd probably be for maintaining the portable latrine "under enemy fire". Research Time - Who wins? You decide! - RedMaestro2 - 10-22-2012 Lapa Wrote:Tom, Marc, what do you consider a "very decent chance" percentage-wise? Do you have any nearby data to back that up? This is by no means a challenge, just wondering. In my experience with late Red Stars, I've found that "very decent chance" means "totally arbitrary" ![]() The closest Red Stars to this one that I have observed are for wounds (roughly -1.5k) and for the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution (roughly +1k), with Afghanistan awards +-3k (again roughly). I'm always up for researching late awards regardless of their "chances". But for a solid story I'd recommend either the OPW2 or the earlier ORS. Cheers, Alex Research Time - Who wins? You decide! - CtahhR - 10-22-2012 I'd have gone 1969 Wounds for RS 3.66 Million. Research Time - Who wins? You decide! - Lapa - 10-22-2012 Guys, Later ORS usually do not go in big batches, and can be completely intertwined between issues. Anyway, ORS 3665859 was issued 18.02.1985 for Afghanistan, so it is a fairly good shot. Marc Research Time - Who wins? You decide! - CtahhR - 10-22-2012 I might have to rethink my #3667488 then. |
