You're right, this Medal originally doesn't have that kind of Soviet 5-sided suspension and the ribbon is also wrong.
As for the star I can't say, mine is gold color, that one seems silver color or so, but it might be just the pic.
As for the price, althought mine is a different Variation, it costed about $25-$30, which is their average price from honnest dealers.
