Foreign Awards To Soviets. - new world - 03-12-2004

I know of only one Soviet Hero of Bulgaria, but keep in mind that there were only about 58 Heroes of PRB at all!

Marshal Tolbukhin was awarded Hero of PRB in 1979 (after his death).

GDR - 1976, 1976 & 1981 - Did he get Three "Heroes of the DDR" Two in 1976?

Ref: North Viet Nam Army and /or VC Awards

Although a total of 16 Gold Stars have been awarded to date, the only positively known recipients include: Ho Chi Minh, Ton duc Thang, Leonid Brezhnev and Aleksei Kosugin, who both received their awards in June, 1980...

Thanks,

Eddie.

Thanks Tal,

The list is updated.

Guys,
Can someone check the "Hero of Bugaria" list please. I'm not sure if the last two are correct or if they recived the Socialist Labour Star.

And what Heroes Stars did Juri Gagarin and Valentina Tereshkova get?

In one of the pics, #16 of the other Thread, what is the second Order from the right on the top row on Valentinas Uniform?

Was that Italien Order ever confirmed?

And last but not least, does anyone know of any Soviets who were awarded the "Hero of Rumania" Gold Star?

Cheers,
Eddie.
