Yet, I am quite sure that those badges are NOT modern fantasy pieces.
Since I was once told that those pinback ones are hungarian, I would say both those pinbacked with tanks and those with trucks are of Hungarian origin.
I saw a badge with the trucks on it the other day desribed as either 'Russian' or 'Soviet' on eBay. I emailed the seller, who is a Hungarian in Hungary and he said it is indeed a Hungarian badge.
That doesn't put this question to rest for good but the evidence seems to lean heavily that way.
