Comrade Shvab for the time of offensive activities from 12-01-1945 to 05-02-1945 showed bravery and courage.
While breaking the enemy defence on 12-01-1945 in the region of height 259.7 north-west of Korytnica, Staszów Region, Kielce Voivodeship quickly threw with his section took from the flank an enemy heavy machinegun that was not allowing the opportunity for the advance of our infantry and destroyed it with its crew, thereby allowing the advance of our infantry forward.
In the following battle whilst crossing the river Oder Comrade Shvab again showed bravery and courage.

Comrade Shvab in battle to break the enemy defence on the western bank of the river Neisse and its crossing showed himself bold and resolute. Comrade Shvab crossed the river Neisse in place with the fighting order of the company, in battle he repeatedly corrected breaks under heavy enemy artillery and machinegun fire as a result of that communication from the company was not interrupted which made it possible for the battalion to perform the delivered orders. In that same battle 17-04-1945 when correcting the link he encountered three German submachinegunners of which he 2 killed with his submachinegun and one took into captivity.
