Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

Private Comrade Buev, A.P. as a light machinegunner in the 673 Rifle Regiment, 220 Rifle Division, 3 Belorussian Front, participated in combat against the German fascist invaders from 7.1944 through 19.10.44. In offensive fighting while crossing the border into Eastern Prussia, he was seriously wounded in the left shoulder on 19.10.44.

The bullet shrapnel wound damaged his bone.

This wound is verified by Statement #1877 issued by EvacHospital #1222 on 27.2.45.

As a result of the wounding, mobility in his left arm and in the shoulder joint are severely restricted.

At the present, Comrade Buev is working in the “Victory” Collective Farm (Dubrovenskii Region, Vitebsk Oblast). He works as a farmer.

For his participation on the front of the Patriotic War and for having been seriously wounded, he is deserving of the Bravery Medal.

Endorsed Commissar of the Vitebsk Oblast Military Commissariat Colonel Tokarev on 26 September 1949
