Medal "For The Liberation Of Korea". - Art - 05-19-2002 Here's a strange piece I picked up with a nice naval career group of medals. Front of booklet is typical "UDOSTEVERENIE K MEDALI" then we get "ZA OSVOBOSHDENIE KOREI" It has a number written "00730", which must be a document number as the medal is not serialized, only stamped on reverse with a few korean or chinese characters and the date "1945. 8.15" Inside booklet is a date of October 15, 1948, also stamp is unit "90251", which is also written above signature in a blank for "KOMANDIR V Y". This same number unit stamp appears in several of the documents I have with this group. I'm curious as to what the red text says if anyone would like to translate it.
