"The book is devoted to long history of an award of the Red Banner of RSFSR and the USSR. Here for the first time it is told about history of establishment of the development of figure of a medal sign and its evolution, about the industrial questions connected with manufacturing of signs of an award."

A fresh book´? Maybe not yet availeable?

This book was ready over a year ago but has been published only this fall.
I didn't get my copy yet but I know Nikolay Strekalov as a collector and an expert on subject of Red Banner order. He spent a lot of time in archives and monetny dvor. I believe, the book should be very useful.

It has Russian text only. That's no problem for me :)
