Hungarian uniforms: officer parade uniform - vaskereszt - 04-09-2007 No, they did not wear the uniforms with parade belt (yellow-gold), only for very rare occasions, like the officer's inauguration. The Hungarian uniform system after 1957 tried to avoid too much ornamentation. I'll try to find a pic for you. Tretov Wrote:Were the uniforms worn with a belt? Hungarian uniforms: officer parade uniform - vaskereszt - 04-09-2007 Eddie: No, this badge shows that the soldier has graduated at a civilian university. Best regards Eddie. Hungarian uniforms: officer parade uniform - Gordon Craig - 01-10-2009 Here is a picture of the uniform Sandor posted in wear. The first Hungarian officer in the picture is Farkas Bertalan, the only Hungarian to fly into space with the Soviet Intercosmos Program. His Soviet partner in the flight is beside him in civilian clothes and his Hungarian backup partner is behind him in the foto. Regards, Gordon |
