General's Belt Buckle - Norm Braddock - 01-11-2008 Greetings kind collector colleagues. Well, I found the guts to post this-embarrased about it. This was sold to me as stated in the title. Sure would be interested in your input. At best, this may be an officers belt buckle. Cheers, N General's Belt Buckle - Tretov - 01-11-2008 I would say it IS an officers belt buckle. Generals and marshals belt buckles were two-part; the crest around was one part from one end of the belt, connecting with the globe which was at the other end of the belt. I hope you did not pay too much for that one - it is pretty hard to get any use for it without the yellow belt and the connecting part from other end of the belt. Sorry. General's Belt Buckle - Lapa - 01-12-2008 Norm, As Patrik indicated, it is not a General's belt buckle. It is a 1970's~80's officer's parade belt buckle that is in pretty dismal shape to boot. Marc General's Belt Buckle - jefflgarrison - 01-12-2008 This one has popped up on our local auction site. Thoughts? Sorry, just two photos were provided. General's Belt Buckle - Al-muell - 01-14-2008 Trench art, probably partizan. Quite common design. Ask polish diggers - they find similar buckles quite often. |
