Soviet Musicians' Uniforms - jontybadd - 02-22-2008
i have seen some pics of collar tabs for musicians with a 'harp' or similar instrument on them. Anyone know if this a seperate area of the soviet military or did all service branches have their own military band? im confused as i've also seen pics of soviet band members wearing artillery collar tabs.

Ussually they were parts of units, and thus wore that u inits' uniforms. See also "translation of 1958regulations" thread, Part III, point 30.
