The Naval Uniforms 1917-1945 - Tal Inbar - 11-20-2002 A new book on sale: "by N.M.Laptev. Moscow. 2001. 108 pages. Text in Russian and English. The book continues to study the history of creation of the navy uniform since 1917 till 1945 and also the following years." The Naval Uniforms 1917-1945 - DougD - 03-05-2003 Finally got this book....odd in places, errors ( 1943 naval general with wrong boards, postwar hats with wartime uniforms, etc). The uniform he is wearing in the above pic is interesting though. Its a M1943 parade uniform for a full admiral, probably one of Kuznetzovs tunics. Like to know where it is now... DD The Naval Uniforms 1917-1945 - talleman71 - 03-03-2009 So where did you get and is it worth getting? I am interested in Russian navy and as a collector and a reenactor is this a good book? Thanks tom The Naval Uniforms 1917-1945 - DougD - 03-03-2009 Hi Tom, Welcome to the forum. The book is good to have for the photos; if you can pick it up on Ebay for $15 or so I'd say it's a good buy. There is a good Russian language hardcover book on the history of the Russian Naval uniform that's better overall.
