Collectable Card Game "War" - Simon - 09-08-2009
This game is my childhood dream come true. At one point in time (about 20 years ago
) I even tried to create my own card game consisting of military units. When Magic The Gathering appeared, I wished they made something similar with real tanks and airplanes. Finally in 2005, a Russian company developed CCG "War" depicting WWII units, generals, battle conditions. Hopefully, other forum members will find this info interesting.

I kind of thought this would happen eventually!
After all once they made Flames of War, a small scale table top strategy game this could not be far off.
Even though I was never into card games like this its kind of cool.

. In addition to a table game Flames of War, there are several real life combat English CCG. Echelons of Fire play involves modern tactical combat between the USSR and the US. World Conflict, the Russian Front reenacts GPW battles. Has anyone played these games?
