State Awards Of The Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. - desantnik - 06-12-2011
Thanks to a dear friend and fellow forum member, I received a copy of the 2010 Transnistrian Moldovan Republic publication featuring its "state" awards. Good news is I'm glad for its publication, bad news is there are now new decorations that I have to pursue such as the Order of Alexander Suvorov in two classes shown on its cover and at least two other decorations pictured here...
The book is large format and 106 pages with many beautiful color photos. As its earlier and smaller 2004 predecessor, it is rather "dry", with plenty of official information, but no collecting information such as number of recipients, collector information, etc.

Paul,
Absolutely beautiful! What a great find... I'm speechless.

If anyone could hook me up with a copy of this book or the awards within I would be a very happy collector! Since I currently only have two PMR awards and a few other bits. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Really don't know where you guys find these gems!

Ha! Got mine in the mail a couple of days ago. Much improved over the 2004 edition. Still pouring over it. Found one mistake: the 3rd Class "Order for Service to the Homeland in the Armed Forces of the PMR" is missing it's backplate (star rays). But, "in a big operation ya gotta expect losses" ;-)
