Colonel Ljuben Antonov Angelov. - CtahhR - 10-06-2011 Here is Ljuben Antonov Angelov's group of 2 Orders and 5 Medals. 1953-04-04 Medal ''For Military Merit'' (For 5 years service) Medal ''Patriotic War 1944-1945'' #194589 1955-04-28 Order ''Red Banner'' #7048 (For 10 years service) 1969-09-06 Jubilee Medal ''25th Anniversary Of People's Rule'' 1970 Order ''People's Republic Of Bulgaria'' 1st Class 1974 Jubilee Medal ''30th Anniversary Of The Bulgarian People's Army'' 1981-10-18 Jubilee Medal ''1300th Anniversary Of Bulgaria'' Colonel Ljuben Antonov Angelov. - CtahhR - 10-06-2011 Although the Medal "Patriotic War 1944-45" is undated, going by the number it was probably issued 1953-1955. The 10 years service "Red Banner" was originally #7048 as is stated in the book twice but a heavy worn "Red Banner" type 2 (unnumbered) is included in this set. There are two reasons for this either 1. The dealer "made it up" but if they did that I would think they would put another Type 1 with the set or 2. The officer's "Red Banner" broke off (as they often do) as he was issued with a replacement. I personally believe the latter to be the most likely. Colonel Ljuben Antonov Angelov. - CtahhR - 10-06-2011 Angelov's "People's Republic Of Bulgaria" 1st Class may well have been awarded as a 25 years service award.
