While penetrating the enemy defences on the western shore of the Vistula river on 14.01.1945 as a gun driver, he was wounded while deploying the gun to an open firing position, but did not leave the battlefield, but after bandaging returned to his unit. As a result, the gun which Comrade Frolov deployed to the open firing position, destroyed a German machinegun position, thus permitting the advance of infantry.
Comrade Frolov is deserving of the Order Glory III Class.
