Ch. Army Patches - vikingraider1 - 07-15-2003 The embroidered sleeve pathces were not specifically for officers but were issued to honour guard companies of all ranks. Officers had the gold embroidered borders running round the edges. There were also ones issued to musicians with the Lyre design embroidered onto a red background. KGB Kremlin guards also had these embroidered badges which were embroidered onto blue backgrounds. There were air force ones on a light blue background as well as paratrooper and cavalry versions which were also known to exist. |
