Prosecutor Identification. - Tal Inbar - 08-23-2002 Those ID looks very interesting. Since I never had one, any comments, translations etc. will be most helpfull. Prosecutor Identification. - otlichnik - 08-26-2002 Dear Tal, Nice ID. It is for an Assistant Justice of the Belorussian Prokuratura (Minsk Oblast). As you may know the Prokuratura were the state procuracy similar to Western Crown Attorneys, State Attorneys or DAs. Similar but not the same as the USSR used the Napoleonic inquisitorial system not our adversarial system of law. This has jst been abolished by Putin. Depending on the crime in question the siuation had to be investigate and the case prepared by an investigator from the police (Militsia), Procurac (Prokratura) or state security (KGB). The great thing about this ID is its high quality. I have one such ID and interestingly it is from a large set to a guy who was in the NKVD, NKGB, MGB and KGB and then retired in the late 1950s. After retirement he worked for the Procuracy - I don't know if part ime or full time - it doesn't say on the ID. Shawn Prosecutor Identification. - Nota Bene - 08-26-2002 Tal, Now, that's a document I don't have a problem with. Nice! Alexei |
