1920 Cheka documents for investigation
Described as documents relating to a Local Emergency Committee member, a wodge of documents appeared for sale in a local auction last December. (Much more than the attached photos show).
Highly unusual to see this type of thing, so I got them cheaply. But what to do with them? I picked them up to avoid them disappearing into the void, but I don't read or speak Russian. Is anyone on this forum interested in taking these documents on as a project? Not looking to sell, just ensure they are looked after properly. |

Depending on your desires, I can either briefly summarize for free or translate some, all, or "best parts" to a designated sum.

I would be happy to pass the papers on to you. (I don't collect documents on their own anymore).

I'd take them off your hands if you don't want them. Scan them all in, translate and present them.

Apologies for the severe delay...
Some photos of these documents. Ideally, I would like to pass these on to someone who can appreciate them, and am happy to do so in exchange for a translation and postage costs... |
