Jens, these documents are so widely fakes (especially from Ukraine), but I think the first one is good from the "Main/Chief Department" of the Ukrainian MVD. I don't see a return date, only an issue date, which is good. I'm leaning towards good on the first one.:thumbsup It is a really good looking document and I would like to see closeups as well to really see the "watermarks" in the paper - mainly because I'm paranoid when it comes to KGB and MVD ID documents.

The second one, however, is the type that gives me all sorts of problems. I am looking at an original award card for the same MVD service medals and the first entry (10 years of impeccable service) was awarded in 1973, the 15 year in 1978 and the 20 year in 1984. I understand that ones issued after all the name changes (MVD, MOOP and MVD again) caused problems with the timely awarding of these medals. But according to this document, all 15 years worth of service medals were awarded within a 7 year period. I've seen this kind of thing before, especially when someone wanted to get at least one MOOP entry into the booklet. I'm sure there were exceptions and late awardings, etc. mainly with the 1950s-60s period. I just have my doubts about that one more than the others.
