Cool stuff with PhotoShop
Hello To All,
Some cool photo merging using recent photos and those taken back in WWII of Soviet troops. The Ghosts of World War II's Past (20 photos) - My Modern Metropolis v/r Dat Nguyen |

Those then and now pictures are nothing new, but they are still cool to see, especially since I have been to most of those places. Thanks for posting the link.

I don't like very much the photoshop work... it's pretty basic and it could be a lot better cutting objects and peoples instead of fading them between new and old.
What is impressive is the matching of angle that in some photo is very accurate and it would take some time to shoot in my opinion. Still a very good idea... very creative! |

Re: Cool stuff with PhotoShop
Either there is another link somewhere on the Forum or someone just sent me a link a while back, but I've seen many of these before and they are still very interesting. The ones of bombed out and rebuilt buildings always strike me most. However, this time, the kids marching in line without uniforms but all with Moisin Nagants with fixed bayonets is pretty powerful - especially since they all seem rather jolly at the moment.
This was also the first time I've seen the pictures of Prague during the "Liberation." Cars can barely navigate those streets so I don't know how the tanks made it to Wenceslas Square. Phillip
