I think it is post-Soviet; the shield and makers mark inside as well as its overall shape feels very modern, not to say unused!

Honestly, E is probably not a good place to be looking for any quality Soviet headgear. Likewise, if you are not experienced at what you are collecting, it will be difficult to know a good deal when it is offered. Good luck to any collector who falls into this catagory. Thank you for the post.

The best option would be to purchase from one of the forum members that may come up with a piece like this on the marketplace. I´d rather avoid online stores (especially the NJ one) since they are most of the time overpriced.

NJ seems to always be over priced.
Almost all the shops I have bought hats from on E have been fake or extremely over priced... |
