Medal "Victory In The Great Patriotic War 1945".

Dear All,

It looks like our Umalatov friends are not the only ones making a medal other than the Russian Government. After some searching, I found out the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF or KPRF) has a medal on a five sided suspension. I have the details book marked, and here is a photo I found. The reverse has the KPRF, and the ribbon bar is half red, half the Victory ribbon (n,o,n,o,n with orange trim).

The reverse says (top text, above the book and hammer and sickle):

Is it just me or can we presume that this Communist Party Of The Russian Federation Medal may very well have greatly influenced the design of the Official Medal "65 Years Of Victory In The Great Patriotic War 1941-1945"? As it pre-dates it by at least 5 years.
