DeStalinised Graduate Badge.

As a part of a much (!) larger group, I have a school graduation badge with a blank tablet.

Not only is the tablet blank (see below) but the best available photo of the recipient shows him wearing the same badge (nice), but it is printed on nasty artistic pebbled papwr (grrrr).

Thoughts? Wisdom?

There looks to be writing hidden by the stain on the tablet. Odd but to my eyes I can see what appears to be Ω (omega) at the right-hand side. Also looks like a couple of scratched Xs on the LHS.

I am guessing that the name was initially there, but was erased by the owner after the 20th Congress. :)

Guys,

I believe that graduation badges with blank shields were issued for some period of time, Alzheimer permitting...

I agree, but those shields were perfectly smooth. This one was definitely messed with, so I am guessing Stalin's name must have been on it.
