Happy 90th Anniverary of the Cheka
If my sources are correct, on December 20, 1917, the Extraordinary Commission to Combat Counterrevolution and Sabatoge was created. Happy Cheka day everyone!

Sorry
Sorry, if I offended anyone...I have always assumed without the Cheka the Soviet Union could not have been created. You usually need a police state to make people happy or sad in a socialist utopia. With that said, it would be quite difficult to collect Soviet militaria today, if the Soviet Union never existed. Regardless, please forgive me if I have offended someone. Merry Christmas
