1969 Uniform regulations book
Does anyone know or even know if these regulations were published in book form or not. I am told that they were and the book has a blue cover. Is this true?
If anybody has one for sale I would be interested. Thanks |

Hi, this is true.
I know two editions, the first of 1969 have the famous wave blue (or tzar green) leather-like cover, with red lettering (not sure). It is quite big, due to its cover. The modifications were later published in the very very next update of 1989, a more common red cover and yellow lettering. The editor is the moscow military editions (voiennoie izdatieltsvo), by the minsitry of defense. Not extremly rare, I missed the 1969 ed and only have the 89 one. In France I saw 2, since one year, nothing. |

That is interesting. I was not sure if they exisited. I have the 1958, 1974 (with green cover) and the 1989 regulations but the 1969 version seems to be a bit elusive. The 1974 version would be similar I would imagine but it would be interesting to inspect the 1969 version.
If anyone has one for sale, please let me know. Thanks |

I have never seen an actual copy of the 1969 one either. Many intermediate books exist issued between the major changes with only minor changes such as the 1974 one vikingraider has.
I have an earlier one from the mid 1960s in my collection which I got in Russia for very cheap - because some dope had cut out about a dozen of the colour pictures. Not even the full pages, just around the people. At least it has all the text which is the important bit. Shawn |

shawn is right and I did a mistake wikkingraider. I phoned to a friend who have the green cover (what I called tzar green cover), and the publication date is well 1974...so excuse me, the enigma stands complete...
