Dagestan Art And Literature 1960

This is a new arrival which literally says: "Decade of Dagestan art and literature in Moscow." Their local version of the standard rhomb badge is very nice. The enamel work is impressive also - depth of color that I don't know came across in the pictures.

The sad irony is the two flags - Soviet Union and Dagestan SSR together - considering the current state of affairs in the latter region.
