1935 Theatre Ticket.
I found this nice old ticket in a lot of papers the other day and I quite like it. Apart from the stain on the corner you would think it was pretty new had it not got the date 1935 on it, someone obviously stored this in a book or the like for a good long time. Seems that it wasn't just solid Metro construction occurring in 1935.
Did anyone go? Any reviews? |

That's pretty cool. Any idea what it says? I'm just way to lazy to try an translate that mess tonight.

Re: 1935 Theatre Ticket.
I personally find it amusing that a concert was put on by an industrial institute. I picture hammers and anvils, the sound of saws and torches cutting metal lots of clanging and banging, but not much Tchaikovsky or even Vysotsky (oops, that would be a reverse anachronism).;)

Re: 1935 Theatre Ticket.
I can just imagine "Dance of the Knights" by Prokofiev every time I associate Soviet institutionality with music.

It's just a shame they couldn't have booked Kraftwerk! "Metal On Metal" anyone?
