Mongolian Uniforms
I wonder if anyone has pictures of MPR uniforms. If you have any could you post them?

I think they look very much like Soviet uniforms... In one episode of GlobeTrekker (then called Lonely Planet) the guy visits Mongolia. At one point he visits the police (I dont remember why) and the officer had a visor cap identical (so it looked) to the M1969 visor cap of an Soviet infantry officer. Green crown, red base.

Here are 2 pics of a veteran in his uniform, although it is a little hard to see the uniform underneath the orders and medals

Well, the guy on the left is actually wearing a hero of the MPR, 2 sukhe bators, 3 orders of the red combat banner, 1 order for combat service, 2 orders orders of the polar star, a couple of combat service medals, a halhingol medal and a soviet order of the red banner, etc...
The guy in the middle has a partizan badge, 2 orders of the red banner of labour and 2 orders orders of the polar star, etc... the woman is wearing a hero of labor star and a sukhe bator, etc... |

The pic on the right in your post is now being used in a European car ad in a magazine! (with the woman left off unfortunately). The purpose of this pic in a car commercial reads as follows (in Dutch): "There is more than one way to distinguish yourself..." ......by driving their car of course... p.s. PM me if anyone wants a full resolution version of this pic...you can see every order up close.

Some eye candy
Left: 2 -"weird things" general shoulderboards for field use.
Right: Colonel shoulderboards for shirt. Not sure if blue denotes branch of service or what. Information welcome. Nicer stuff to come soon!

Blue, what blue? I see no blue! I see red, which is for Army. Blue would be Air Force. Mongolia doesn't have seem to have a Navy, as it is landlocked. That being said, nice boards! BTW, your general boards are upside down.
