Dinamo Badges.
I went through all of the archived previous posts in this category and was surprised not to find any postings of Dynamo badges.
In any case, I've been collecting these for many years (not very agressively) and since I just got two great old screw post Dynamo badges in, I thought I'd share them (and then the rest of my small collection) with all of you - in case anyone is interested. These first two are my newest: 25 years of Dynamo (1948) made in Tallinn at the "Metall Mark" factory and is numbered 2284 - why it's numbered, I do not have a clue; and a classic "D" white rhombus with an artsy screw nut which says "Moscow Mill - Union 'гипторга'" - actually it's so small every thing is run together - "Союзгипторга" and I can't find a meaning for either the word alone or combined with "union." Anyway, If I had to guess, I'd say late 1940s or early 1950s from the thickness of the brass and the strange screw nut. Phillip

Here are most of the rest (including a press badge for a 1979 event - picture #2):

Re: Dynamo Badges
In the 1st pic, the 50th is obviously from 1973, the "Regional Championship" 2nd place looks much older because of the enamel work and the heavy brass, and the round one is either for 35 years of Dynamom, which would make it 1953, or for Dynamo's participation in the "Spartakiada" - which if you break it up into three separate words comes to "Spartak and Hell":chuckle though I doubt that's what was meant by the name of the sporting event. However, Spartak was the name of another sports society/club and the main rival of Dynamo, so this could simply have been a pin from their 35th annual match.
C'est tout. Phillip

Re: Dynamo Badges
Nice Dynamo collection, Phil! As you know, most of mine are from the DDR but I have a few from the "colder climes" that I'll share once I photograph them. Great stuff!

Re: Dynamo Badges
Thanks Greg. I remember you collection of the DDR version. I wonder if they played each other?

Re: Dynamo Badges
I imagine they did... I'll try to find evidence of a program or "wimpel" (small souvenir banner) indicating a match.
In the meantime, here's my pitifully small collection of, mostly, Dynamo Kiev pins.

There's nothing "pitiful" about it. You have a few that are really nice and I just made an offer on one like you have (the "D" with "CCCP" underneath it on a long pin), except your is in much better shape.
I thought this might be a little interesting too. It's an unused Dynamo Club membership card. Check out all the events you can or have to keep track of. (I only scanned half of the booklet so as not to take up too much space, but I hope you get the idea.) Phillip

I wonder if there were any regulations to wear it on a uniform. BTW, you should remove the verdigris under the flag with some acetone and a cotton bud.

Re: Dynamo Badges
Esteban, thanks for the "how to" remove that stuff. I was just wondering how to clean that off without damaging anything else.
I posted it "as is" because I got it in the mail that same day and couldn't resist. I too became a rapid admirer when I saw it in one or more of the Avers books and kept searching until I found one at a very, very reasonable price - as in I don't think the seller had a clue what he had. And as a side note, I don't feel too badly for people who sell Soviet stuff at accidentally low prices because they are only selling the items off for money and don't care about the pieces as art. They are just moving a product.:thumbsdown Now if a collector decides to sell part of his/her personal collection for a reasonable price that's less than other seller-only types, that's different. You know you are getting something special (and most importantly, authentic). To them, I am always grateful.:thumbsup Phillip
