WÅ‚odzimierz Janiurek, government spokesman, ambasador, writer, journalist
A most recently aquired group, alas, incompleate - most of the documents were sold elsewere.
But anyway, I ended up with 2 of his PZPR booklets, a country-wide conference mandate and almost compleate set of awards (with only the Commander's Cross of the Polonia Restituta Order missing. WÅ‚odzimierz Janiurek, born in Chorzów in 1924, was a journalist and writer. He worked for a long time in the "Trubuna Robotnicza" ("Workers' Tribune") newspaper and was even the chief editor of it. He was a member of the pairlament of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cadentions (1957-1969). In 1966 he became an ambasador of the PRP in Prague, later (1980-1981) he was also na ambasador in Mexico City. From 1971 to 1980 he was a member of the Council of Ministers holding the post of government spokesman - he was the first person in polish history to hold it. He died in 2011. Some more information: ParlamentarzyÅ›ci RP - PeÅ‚ny opis rekordu WÅ‚odzimierz Janiurek – Wikipedia, wolna encyklopedia WÅ‚odzimierz Janiurek nie żyje « Stowarzyszenie Dziennikarzy RP w Katowicach Here is the part of the group in my collection: (photographs of the individual awards upon request. |

Re: WÅ‚odzimierz Janiurek, government spokesman, ambasador, writer, journalist
A few more items ended in my hands some time ago (from a different source):
1.A photograph captioned on the back "After signing an agreement with Czechoslovakia" Janiurek is in thecenter, with a glass. 2.1938 secondary school in Chorzów diploma with quite good results - polish, geography and maths are "stisfactionary", Latin, history and physics&chemistry are "good", the rest, including French are "very good". Probably he didn't finish the school because of the war. Last edited by Al-muell; 09-13-2014 at 02:05 AM. |

1937 certificate stating that he won 19 points for his class in the "Olimpycs of progress" (a sort of in-school competition - the class that has the best results - wins) during 1937/38 school year.
1930-1936 primary school yearly certificates in one booklet. |
