I saw that!
That's why I thought it was a tourist joke!

If you look at the last line of the proletarian text on the flag, you will see it is just a lot of nonsense... Crap..!

Guys,
I also think it's a theater prop, but not made in Russia - just look at that ribbon.

I'm confused--isn't it an early 80's armor general's hat? It has the gold on gold cocade, general's buttons for the cords, and the hig-quality lining. Plus wear. Is the problem is that the leaves shouldnt be there and that they ar not embroidered?

Guys,
That's a standard officer's cap that has been upgraded with General buttons and cocarde, nothing else.

Well, it has a sweatband and label typical for the generals' caps...
If it is a remake, someone has put much effort in it.

The seatband and label made me think that it was a general's, as opposed to a lesser officer's, cap. I'm no expert, but I do have about a dozen M69 visor caps, and none of the officer's ones have this kind of fancy sweatband/label combo. So I'm confused.
Marc--I take it that you have seen non-general officer's caps w/this higher-quality sweatband/label combo?
