Ebay jokes
Hopefully the buyer will realize this and re-unite the group!

Guys,

Somebody should e-mail him. It could be an honest mistake.

Alexei
I e-mailed him, and he sent back a nice reply. It sounds like an honest mistake, and he posted the e-mail on the auction.

I'm just surprised that no "helpful" eBayer has pointed it out to him yet. I can't tell you how much "help" I get on my auctions when I make a mistake in my listings! :angerr

Well, hopefully the high bidder on either of the auctions will have some common sense and reunite the group. Even though it is a long service group, it would be a shame to see it split after all these years.

That neck tie is so cool. I think I will wear my shoulder boards on my tie for my formation tomorrow morning.

I think my commander just might adopt that as the unit uniform standard. Problem is, our shoulder boards only come 2 to a pack, not 3.

Thanks for sharing that tie.

On ebay, Order of Lenin Pin Back:banghead

Seller says: This is the Badge Order of Lenin. [ without Ribbon] which was worn pinned directly onto the left breast of Uniform Tunic or Jacket. This pin-type is quite rare.

I sent him an email and his reply: Hey,
nobody said anything about it being real!It looks good and feels OK, it certainly has no box or official paperwork or anything like that... and indeed there were pin and screwback lenins...why dont you try a little research??!

E-xxx marketing slogan: "if it exists, we have it on e-xxx" . They should add: if it even does not exist, we still have it.

I do some business in e-bay too, I have constant feeling that most of the stuff either fakes or fallen off the truck. Especially high-tech stuff.
Wow - on a well known auction site where they sell a lot of different stuff I just saw a very interesting item: a Hero of Socialist Labor, second award for same recipient (serial number 51).

This guy must have access to the rarest stuffWink
Looks real for me, what do others say?
