Here is document AП№174219. Awarded in 1946 but filled out in untranslatable text - until now. Only took 4 years but....

Awarded to Gharo Hamedi Shamojan by Ashagyowghi Regional Executive Committee.

Is it strange to have an Azeri SSR document filled out in Armenian? Not when it's from the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast.

As this Medal was one of the most awarded in history, it isn't surprising that quality control wasn't to the highest of standards. This example has a very poorly struck reverse.

Can anyone help?
