jefflgarrison Wrote:BTW, who was it that was offering "Order of Glory" medals for 3.6 million "Red Stars"?

PM me if you read this and it was you.

It was me. But if you read my post, you can see that it should not be just regular Red Star. I said that I would trade my 3rd class Glory for 3.000.000 Red Star in case this Star belonged to HSU Smile

Description with photo:

Order of Alexander Nevsly is awared to Russian commanders and others for displaying personal courage, boldness, bravery, and comannd in combat for the motherland in the Patriotic War that secured a units success. The awarding of the Order of Alexander Nevsky is by edict of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. The Order of Alexander Nevsku is awarded to divisional, brigade, regimental company and platoon commanders. This is a replica of the original medal, 2.17 x 1.38 x 1.38 inches, reverse has screw on design. Looks just as good as the original at the fraction of the price, origianals have sold for over $500 plus and due to Russian law originals can not be sold in Russia. This is a great addition to any collection.

Bolding added by me. So originals have to be given away in Russia? Funny laws.

gee, i didnt know soviet aircraft had cannons on them.:laff
Hate to quibble but most of them do. From the Sturmovik to the tail gun of a Bear and every fighter since (and including) the Mig15.
Still a stupid hat, though.

After seeing the soviet helos of "Red Alert 2: Yuri´s Revenge", makes sense to me...Big Grin
There's nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Are now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

The Who, Won't get fooled again
