The military display looks great, and the map is inspired. Wonderfull way to display the campaign medals.
Not military myself (though my father was), I've read history and military history for decades. Special interest in the GPW. With the fall of the USSR that interest was rekindled, though on hold through the 90s as career and family took center stage. So I missed the ten-for-a-C-note Red Stars and such. Having a bit more free time now I've gotten into them.
The real boon IMO is the amount of new history out in English in the past couple decades. It's like discovering a whole new subject after reading the histories from the 60s and 70s.

First of all BIG WOW!!! on all of your guys displays.
It has been a good learning experience and huge inspiration for me.
The only regret i have it that i have started collection only about 8 moths ago and obviously most of the medals and orders are far out of reach for me.
None the less here is my small collection (big thanks to Alexei and Laurent). I don't display any doubles.
It was a presentation board from sportsmen to someone. Quite often, this type of award was hand-made to be presented as a memento on a specific occasion.
