Note:
1. Wrong # of Soviet republics reflecting post-1945 era in great seal above. 2. Date is 19__ and not 194_. This is a GENUINE 1980's-era document that forger essentially destroyed when tried going for a WWII-era 1945 date.

Dear Guys! This is my Kaukazus-document, and I'd like to know, is it can be original? If it's OK, please help me, what kind of army group is there on the document?

It looks original to me. A rifle regiment is identified on the document. At a minimum you'd have to find out it's parent division, then Army, then you will know Front or "Army Group".

Vasko,
A Paul indicated, it looks OK, although seeing a higher resolution scan wouldn't hurt (I seem to have something against those signatures in red pencil). Marc

I tried to make some better scans (1200 dpi), one about the document and an other about only the signatures.
Dear Desantnik! You didn't understand my question because of my bad english. I wanted to know, what kind of military unit (which unit, division, regiment, batallion, etc.) can be read on the document?

Thoughts on this Kiev Document:confused: The stamp is not good and hardly readable.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Brendan
