There must really be a shortage of images. http://soviet-awards.com/forum/soviet-mi...post225716

I think that the best for of attack here is to have some rather unique search patterns.

I'm not eligible to win but if I post an image it just means that either everyone has to search harder for a different one or at worst we will all see a greater variety.

All the times I've seen footage of decorated harvesters in the fields and miners down the pit but now I want to find images they've all vanished.

If only these workers publishing the "Field Post" were decorated.

Hopefully these will inspire some additional thoughts.

Here is Composer Aram Khachaturian at work. Firstly composing in 1959 with his 1939 awarded Lenin and secondly hard at work conducting in 1972 with one of his many high awards on his right. Both times doing what he had been awarded for.

I hope this one hasnt been used before!

Although he looks like he is lost the wounded recipient is actually holding a book which will no doubt contain trajectory tables for the artillery pieces.

Very much hard at it. A great snapshot of intense combat action just behind the front line. This area could be a goldmine for similar pictures where the photographer was in less danger than being stood in no-man's land.
