That's just the sort of thing I mean. Unfortunately I don't have a Ukaz date but the Medal Documents date late October to late November pre-dating that particular Ukaz. One was to a Belarussian, one in Uzbekistan and the others not traced yet.
I wouldn't be surprised if 50,000 - 100,000 Medals alone were awarded in conjunction with the 50th anniversary.
Still looking for that citation.

Gents,
I came upon this information on another site. I thought it might be of use to those of you who focus on wound awards.

Does anyone know of any 10th April 1967 decrees? I'm coming up blank for any at all.
Also any additional information on 10th August 1967? All I have found so far is a pair of Badge Of Honours and a Red Star to active Air Force personnel.

Reviving this a bit - Does anyone know what award ukazi were on 8th April 1971?
The one I am looking for would probably have something to do with hydrology or agriculture and maybe Ukraine, but that is just a guess.

That would fit. I was hoping for something less vogue, that would let me identify the awardee's course of career, but it is still helpful.
