It reminds me of the people who watch the weather report, hear that there is a 50% chance of rain that day and assume it will rain for half of the day. I'm not making this up by the way - I hear it rather more often than I'd like.:chuckle

There's nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Are now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

The Who, Won't get fooled again
I wish I were joking - but it is true.:dissapoint

And mix-n-match collar tabs? Is that a MVD parade uniform (or supposed to be)? But don't forget, he did say he has "more great items for you." :laff Plus. you only have to pay $50 in shipping costs if you return it - almost twice what the opening bid is.Big Grin

P.S. Uhm, are we allowed to post item numbers? Does that fall under disrupting the sale of an item? I don't want to be a buzz-kill, but I don't want to be chastised by our glorious forum leader either.

The shoulderboards are army type (red edges, not maroon) so the collar tabs are OK.
Some of the ribbons are British from WW2.

The War Medal 1939–1945 is top left, second on middle and first on the bottom row.

The 1939-45 Defence Medal is the last on the top two rows and the first on the bottom.

The green-red-blue-red-green ribbon is the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal.

This one is on a swedish auction site... surely the product of a creative mind, no hands were idle when this one was created. Leaves on the collar, stars on the boards, metal on the visor - it is all there! :laff
