Fake Academy Badges
Using semantics rather that providing actual evidence is no substitute.

ALL of us have been either deceived by a fake or been made to feel so sheepish that we turn down an unfamiliar yet legitimate item.

We all have our comfort zones and all of us are able to specialise in our own particular familiar zone.

Barking with no bite soon becomes ignored by reasonable collectors.
The proof is in the pudding....

His sentence mortified a genuine item, Enveroxa's business was mortified. Too easy ... You have the right to be wrong after a good "test", it has been hastily judged as a faked item...
Are "It looks" & " it seems" good evidences?

An opinion is simply an opinion. If one person's opinion is enough to kill a pending deal that person must have earned that deal killing power.

My opinion would be that some members of this forum would be seemingly turning focus to the "Fake Soviet Military Awards Forum" recently when the focus should be something completely different entirely.

Does repeatedly asking "Is this good?" significantly contribute to the hobby?
If you have an item you KNOW is good (talking to ALL members), post it in the correct thread in the Orders or Medals section of the forum and NOT in any "Fake" area as there should be a true distinction between what is true and what is false.

Making this defined outlook would be of greater help to us all, specially members who have limited English language skills. One pile of real, one pile for fake. Don't feed from the fake pile!

This is your opinion. You could be a good solicitor... but not a barrister...

Too bad we're argueing about semantics here when I had hoped this gent could bring some real insight to this forum as opposed to the hair-splitting, posturing and sabre-rattling that's going on again.

Progress,

I have known Alexei for close to 15 years, and I know his abilities and capabilities. You, on the other hand, are presenting yourself, in an implied and inferred way, as an expert. That is your right, of course, but, as far as we are concerned, you have no track record. It may be that you have extended knowledge about Soviet phaleristics, and we would really love you to share it with us; however, so far, your attitude has been that of a troll, criticizing and contradicting without ever offering one bit of evidence about your supposed "knowledge".

Now, since you seem to enjoy playing semantics, just one small bit of information for you: you have clearly showed your limited command of the English language. Alexei's second quote, as outlined by yourself, is in fact a sarcastic reply to you and in no way contradicts his previous statement; it is a call for you to "show your cards". But that is a subtlety that can easily be lost to a non-native speaker.

So, please, stop your little game right now. As we say in English, either put up or shut up. Demonstrate your knowledge, and establish yourself as a full-fledged, valuable member of this forum, or find another sandbox and go play there with the your fellow trolls.

I am still waiting for Nota Bene's answer... I think he knows he was wrong...
Enveroxa didn't believe to Nota Bene's dogmatic opinions without evidences (Enveroxa was right... we are in the 21th century…). He posted the same question on the well-known British based forum ( sorry, according with "North Korean laws" I cannot post this link here... but I will be pleased to answer through PM). In that forum they judged this badge... they judged it... genuine! Who judged it?? Alfred and Sergio ( two trustable members). I think you know Alfred... In that forum members are still laughing...
Enveroxa was honest and told them he received a negative opinion here (SMAP)... but they didn't change their opinions ( they were right...) Lapa, you are registered in that forum... did you forget that thread? Did you forget to tell us about that thread?
Dear Lapa, as Russians say “ Я последняя буква алфавита”…
I’d like to see Nota Bene’s evidences…please not dogmatic opinions ( “it seems” & “it looks”), please no empty words…
ENVEROXA’S BADGE IS GENUINE…
Waiting for Nota Bene...

Nota bene… or… P.S.: I have seen there is a ghost in this forum. Yuri Dolgorukiy??
I have seen mutilated threads here. Dear "long-armed" friend, If we can't have a complete thread here we will have a complete thread on the well known British forum... ( copy & paste…) ... Freedom of speech…

It is AMAZING that only someone doing something incorrect ever brings up "Freedom of speech".

You never hear someone say, "That was a fine meal, thank you for your hospitality and I have the freedom of speech to say so!".

It is usually "They're all against me! Conspiracy! FREEDOM OF SPEECH!".

Why would anyone be against you?

Why do we consume pages and pages of the forum, just to read his rantings?
