Victory Day And Victory Parades.

I just watched it live on Russian Channel 1. As always, impressive...!

Many, many thanks. I've even registered on the site, despite its sensationalist overtones and clearly pro-government press release versions of the news (but then that just makes it more like CNN).

Lots of information and a really good way to keep up with a place I feel so much for.

Also, there is an incredible amount of fantastic footage from the GPW and lots of interesting stories from veterans. Thanks again.:thumbsup:thumbsup

All Americans - do NOT forget today that today is MOTHER'S DAY and call your own mother/do something nice for your wife.

Otherwise, your day will not be too victorious...

Very wise words. Without your mothers, you would not be here and without your wives, your children would not.

Now I must finally go back to bed or risk a bit of wrath when I don't want to wake up early enough.:o

The BBC has an article mentioning the foreign troops in the parade.

The Chinese CCTV-4 broadcast it this afternoon, yet I think Chinese PLA parade last year is better than this.
