Fake Restoration, Construction and Development Medals
drill Wrote:Marc, why not? I'm about RedBanner's "neftegaz" ;)
It looks good enough for me.

Drill,

If there was only one die made for these, then I believe that this is not it. Now, if you have additional information, I am totally open to learning :thumbsup

I could not find a single sign of fake. That's why I ask: why you've decided, that the medal is bad? I like it.
Thanks.

Drill,

Let me answer your question with another question: how does this medal look to you?

Marc, looks so convincingly. I think it's original too.
I hope, you don't mean a grainy surface? - it's not a symptom.

Marc you said A please carry on say B, is that a fake?
Reply
No, B is original. Now, compare that one with the one posted by RedBanner, and tell me if you find any differences.

Grrrrr! :banghead
I can't see differences, not considering the color of the metal.
Maybe they are on the back?

There are differences in the areas with sandheaps (see arrows). The "dirty" areas are not crisp enough. Looks like a casted medal to me.

The problem might be the light.
I'd like to see a scan.
