Fake Orders of the Red Star
From the pictures it appears to be an authentic screw post base example although I suspect all or part on the enamel has been replaced. Regardless, it is a fine piece with a lot of character. The off center medallion adds to its charm and appeal.

Hi guys, I got a red star order. Its weight at 29.29g without nut. The No is 3529716. whether it is a fake?because of the weight. Thank you for suggestion

29.29 grams for a Red Star of that serial is towards the light end but still within the usual limits. A Red Star of this award period (c1956-7) is most likely for 15 years long service and the least likely to be faked. That being said without detailed pictures no final conclusion can be reached.

Do you have larger pictures? These are rather small. Both sides seem to be heavily polished, but other than that, it seems to be a good one.

Edited the existing photographs/scans, and, despite poor exposition, I concur with the previous assessment.

It's a fine star. There isn't a real reason to counterfeit this one, either--since it's post WW2 and pre-Afghan (Afghanistan awardings start in the 3.77K range)

Beyond that GPW catch ups etc go well beyond that. Into the 3.8 millions.

Everything is viable for fakery when it comes to Red Stars - including the fake research.

Ignorance is bliss - specially if you intend to make a killing from someone half clued up.

Awarded in 1952 - Korea? NO!
Awarded in 1956 - Hungary? NO!
Long service? YES!

General useful tip.
