Badge "Honoured Railworker".
#41
From the look of the badge I'd say 80s. May I ask where you got the information you already have, please?

1970-03-13 Barbakadze, N. A ''Honoured Railworker'' #122494 a "B" with engraved number and screwback.

Deputy Auditor Of Safety Tbilisi Branch Of The Trans-caucasus Railway.

There is #132979 offered for sale "somewhere" which was awarded on 26th February 1976, V.I. Stcherbakov, locomotive driver of the Donetsk Railway. Also a version "B".

This award was not a Ministry Of Defence award but a Ministry Of Communications so not a "Military" award.

I collect the dates from the internet, from pictures and auctions I saw.

Now that's interesting!
May I ask how this information was obtained?

That's what it says on the document. Many of the documents provide a snippet of information on the recipient's position.

I'm sorry, I completely missed the fact that the badge in the first post was the badge that was awarded with the document in your own post.
I made the mistake of assuming that one member would not be posting a badge while another member posted the photo of the document.
I should have looked at the posts more carefully.

My post unfortunately only features my document and not my badge as I have a scan of most of my documents with me at most times but I don't have many of my awards photographed. It is far easier to scan a document than photograph awards in my experience. I can post a picture of the Badge but it will be a LONG time.

Here is the 1970 awarded Badge as once listed in the forum marketplace (the box repaired really nicely).
