Translation Help
Tommy Wrote:Cheers Kamil... What about this phrase.

There's no more to the sentence.

To me it looks like "Секретарь в/Прид. бюро"

So Secretary for the ??? Bureau?

It's a strange one.

Tommy,
I think it might be "Voenno-prodovol'stvennoe byuro"...

Thanks!

So Secretary of the Military Foodstuffs? Sustainance? Bureau

I'd rather think of it as an executive of the Bureau in charge of food-supply chain operations (incl. political activity, of course). See Всероссийское центрвоенпродбюро

It's the acronym "БАНККП" that I am having difficulty translating, although I think I see Order of the Red Banner Regiment; any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thank you![/SIZE]

I think it's just "BAKKP" - on the stamp, there's the word starting with "B", and the next one starts with "A" (short one), while the next word starts wth "K"

I think it's _________ Avtom[obilnyi] __________ Kasnoznamenniy Polk
or _________ Aviats[ionnyi] __________ Kasnoznamenniy Polk

Seems to be: 80-й Ближнебомбардировочный Авиационный Киркенесский Краснознамённый полк

t least that unit seems to fit - both the shortcut and the stamp

Thank you very much, it's the "80th Short-Range Aviation 'Kirkenesskiy' Order of the Red Banner Regiment."

That's "80th Short-Range Aviation "Kirkenes" Red Banner Regiment".

Kirkenes (Norway) really got a pounding from the Red Air Fleet.

Missing word seems to be "Zheleznodrozhnoy" - "railway".
The genral's surname seems to be Tissok or Tisson
