Honourary Medal "Fighter For Peace".

First time that I see this. Please help in MORE information. This is the description:

"Soviet medal "To the fighter for the peace" awarded to Polar explorer, President of Soviet Geographic Society, USSR Hero academician A. Treshnikov in 1970. Brass medal"
